Zero Remote Data Architecture
QRora processes all QR code generation, camera scanning, image decoding, batch processing, and print layouts entirely inside your browser. No payload data, Wi-Fi credentials, contact cards, or camera frames are ever sent to our servers.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
- QR Code Payloads: URLs, plain text, Wi-Fi passwords, contact cards (vCard), crypto addresses, and calendar events remain strictly in your browser memory.
- Camera Feeds: Live camera frames used by the scanner are processed frame-by-frame via client-side BarcodeDetector and Web Workers. Video tracks are destroyed on component unmount.
- Uploaded Images: Photos uploaded to the image decoder are processed in local Canvas memory and are never uploaded or persisted.
2. Analytics & Telemetry
We use Google Analytics 4 (QRora) strictly to monitor high-level site traffic and operational health. All telemetry events are sanitized by a central client-side gatekeeper before transmission. Prohibited data (URLs with query strings, user inputs, passwords, decoded texts) are permanently stripped.
3. Third-Party Libraries
QRora uses open-source algorithms including Project Nayuki (MIT) and jsQR (Apache 2.0). All libraries run client-side without external network pings or callbacks.
